Oakwood Landscapes offers Landscaping, Hardscaping, Sitework and Maintenance services for our residential and commercial clients in the greater Richmond area with the capacity to encompass all aspects of design, build, and continual care. The Company is led by Carter Keller and Joseph Sterne who co-founded the company and have been partners since 2015.

We specialize in hardscape installations, grounds maintenance, and full site work for new construction including grading, excavation, retaining walls, and landscape install. Whether it’s a custom outdoor space or a large-scale commercial site, we have the equipment, knowledge, and capability to execute projects of any size with precision and efficiency.

Beyond construction and maintenance, we take pride in being responsible stewards of the community and environment. We believe great landscapes should not only look exceptional but also contribute positively to the spaces and people that use them. That mindset drives how we plan, build, and maintain every project - balancing durability, aesthetics, and sustainability in everything we do.

Our company roots trace back to 2015, where both founders began their journey with a small leaf removal business. What started as a modest service has evolved into a full-scale landscaping and construction business built on experience, persistence, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Over the years, both founders have successfully operated two landscaping companies and spent time working for global corporates, gaining extensive experience across residential and commercial projects.
